Lee Valley straight edge is just not good enough to setup a jointer. You need a precision straight edge.

I have not set up a Robland jointer. Are you sure the tables are out of alignment some times just a rise or fall of the out feed is all that is needed.

Hmmm, technically true, but realistically nah…the one you linked to is flat to (.0005) 5 ten thousandths of an inch /foot. Lee valley is (.003) 3 thousands / length, so a 50 inch is flat to 7 ten thousandths of an inch (.003/4). larger yes, enough to matter, NOPE.
