Yeah it kind of stunk because I would have bid quite a bit higher than $5 for that selection. I was right in there though in case he took something else. Can’t fault him though. That was definitely the steal of the day in my opinion.

Wow on the real Bailey plane. That would be a rarity for sure. What does something like that sell for?

I saw a Stanley #1 sell at a tool auction. Someone told me if I ever had the chance to watch one sell. The said it would probably go for around $700. That was where it started and went for over $1000. That is way too rich for my checkbook. I have the LV replica but I would have no reason to purchase an original. It would need to be setting in a display case at that price LOL. I’m sure that is where it went. It wasn’t on the block more than 10 minutes
