Too bad you missed out on the 7. 7s and 8s are hard to find in good shape + low asking price. I’ve been resurrecting Stanley planes and other tools for quite a few years. I’ve had a bunch of planes pass thru my shop… And acquired a fair sized library on Stanley and related makers… Member of the Midwest Tool Collector’s Association… Gotten very deep in the hand plane rabbit hole. I actually found an honest-to-gosh real Bailey (not Stanley) plane a couple of weeks ago… Super rare! No markings except on the depth adjusting wheel… It was being sold as a Stanley because it had a later Stanley iron in it.
