I have the planer and like it. I’ve not had issues with movement in the cutterhead. I think it’s pretty comparable to all the other lunchbox planers other than the 735.
I have used the LSA for my Ridgid jobsite tablesaw. It stopped working, I brought it to the local shop that does LSA work, they replaced the motor and I went and picked it up. No problems, as long as you make sure that the registration worked and that you have some kind of copy of the receipt (although now I think that the Ridgid website stores a pdf of the receipt).
