I always start with a new blade for important resawing. I’m resawing Cherry at 3/32 for curved laminations. When I’m done I’ll take this blade off and put on a general purpose blade.
Save a good resaw blade for resawing.
I said resawing four times in one post new record. Me :)

A resaw repeat :)

+1 on the sharp blade. Also use one designed for resawing with a variable pitch tooth pattern, hooked teeth and as wide as your saw can handle.
