I’d leave off the 3/4” ply unless you need the bottom enclosed for some particular purpose. I don’t see that it’s really gonna add anything structurally. Then I’d just screw the lumber together. I built a similar base a couple of years ago for my jointer using only 2×4s and it’s held up well.
