If a tool of mine has a motor it has a cord. I would much rather work with an extension cord than create a pile of expired batteries. Last time I checked, NiCad and LiIon batteries cannot yet be economically recycled. Yes recycling centers take them, but they are stock piled or recycled at a loss. If anyone has data to the contrary please share.
