I have seen this before and I was not impressed as the setup time is much longer than a typical CNC and there is very little “Z” for carving. These routers move very slowly ….....
Another one in this family of handheld CNC automation is the Shaper|Origin.
Perhaps these tools will find use as “job site” tools and probably not in a production environment!
As one of my neighbors, a finish carpenter, pointed out you can make a number of precision templates on a CNC and then use handheld routers for more throughput, and create a whole set of template for job site work.
