Thanks for the info, I’ll take a look at Forrest as well as Woodcraft and the Scott Whiting option. Thanks for the info and great recommendations. Someday soon I’ll work my way up to a Forrest blade but haven’t quite needed to yet. That’s primarily because I’m always cutting everything a 16th or 32nd of an inch long and finishing the edge up with a shooting board and hand plane or chisel or sandpaper if need be. I’ve had good results with some of the mid-priced blades however as long as I’m using a zero clearance insert or some kind of backing. I believe it is time, however, to send a few blades out to get re-tuned.
