We recently bought a new phone for home use that has robocall blocking. When the phone answers automatically, it tells the caller to press 1 to continue. Robocall don’t know how, so hangs up. This feature alone has reduced our phone ringing by at least 90%. Only a live caller is going to press 1. Something like $80 at CostCo. We have cable with the same company, so the calling number shows up on the TV (doesn’t bother me, I don’t watch the thing, anyway) but the wife will laugh when the “calling number” cycles from the spoofed number to the spoofing number.
