Lots of great info here about removing ruse. I, myself, have had a run in or two with the stuff.
For my 8” long bed jointer beds, I scraped with a razor blade to get most of it off. Then 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper and whatever I had on hand at the time (WD40). Then Evaporust soaked into towels. Whalla… done.
