The dangerous part will be when you’re stretched out over the saw to cut the last 6 inches. Recommend mocking up an outfeed table at the same or about 1/2 inch lower to support the large piece of plywood you’re keeping as you extend yourself over the table. I’ve often used heavy things around the shop to help with outfeed.
