If it’s 2Hp I would think it’s a hybrid, not a true cab saw like a Uni, A PM 66, or my venerable old General 350, which was Canadian made. If it wears the designation Intl. it’s made in China, so your best indicator for market will be checking new, and used Grizzly hybrids. I think used around here it could easily be getting you an older Griz.

Here is Griz's current 2 hp hybrid Note the Griz, most all the others I am aware of, just not sure on the General Chinese tools is they are 2 Hp, and can run on 110, or 220. Typically you are looking at a “look” for guys who want a cab saw, but don’t have the wallet. They are hardly heavier duty than a contractor saw, they just have their trunions hung like a cab saw, but usually on much lighter trunions.

Obviously markets differ, but around here it isn’t uncommon to see used Griz 1023’s for near that money, so I would say a resounding NO to 700 bux. I’m not sure I would go 500. I love my Canadian made 350, but I’ve never heard a good word about their Chinese Intl. line.
