Just make one to your liking from wood. Or make two of them, one for your saw blade, one for your dado blade. Or even make one from aluminum. I have a 12” Hammer sliding table saw which has a narrow odd shaped saw blade hole. I made a zero clearance insert from aluminum plate. A wood cutting bandsaw will easily cut aluminum and a carbide tipped table saw blade will too. Just fit the aluminum insert into the hole, slide the saw fence over the insert but where it will miss the saw blade, and then slowly crank the saw blade up through the aluminum plate insert to cut the slot. Works like a charm! P.S. You can order almost any thickness of aluminum plate in small amounts from Online Metals https://www.onlinemetals.com/ -- Always remember: It is a mathematical certainty that half the people in this country are below average in intelligence! |
