Your DC is similar to mine, I have bag system for now with an upgrade planned.

I used “6 pvc drain pipe for the runs. The pipe was affordable but the fitting are money and you will need to plan carefully.

I never planned for using the 4” fitting at the DC. Using the larger size will provide increased flow and better removal of the chips and fine material. Plan for a separator, cyclone or Thien will work fine. I have a Thien just before the DC and have a trash can for the table saw which also connects to the planner & joiner when in use.

The system runs above the rafters and branches to the drops. Once the 6” drops down, I switch to a 4”, then blast gate and 4” flex hose to the tool. Given your layout, consider several 6” drops which then switch to 4” with blast gates at the tools. This will control the airflow.

Just remember once this project sucks, you have achieved success..
