I would be very interested in that saw!

I have a very similar unisaw setup. I have the Delta mobile base that supports the saw and the long right side extension. My outfield table is a Delta folding outfield extension. The whole setup is meticulously cared for, and frankly, not used all that many hours. If I was to sell that saw right now I would ask $1400, and not take less than $1200 – if I still had it after 6 or 8 weeks.

I do not want to spend time rebuilding old, used tools. I think it is cool that people do that, and see it as an interesting hobby for them. But it simply isn t my hobby, nor me interest. I believe there are a lot of people like me in this regard. Those people will find a near-perfect Unisaw and pay to get it, to avoid a new machine of similar design for ca $3k, and to avoid a cheap machine that needs work.

All very good to know, thank you for sharing that.

If I didn’t have a table saw at all, I’d be with you. Being that I do have one, albeit frustrating at times, I’m a little more inclined to consider a project. Especially because the $1000 difference would almost pay for the drum sander I want. :D
