I believe the bearing became loose from being in the freezer overnight!
I had the arbor shaft/bearing in the freezer with the trunnion in the sun so everything would go together without any “banging” on the parts.
That worked like a charm, the trunion was almost too hot to handle, and the pieces went together with very little effort

I put the old bad arbor shafts in the freezer to see if the bearing would become loose and it did!

Everything is now back together I just need to install the belt pulleys, belt, and belt cover.

This was not a job for someone with RA and just too old to be a mechanic because steel and iron are not as hand friendly as wood!
