Inflated prices are one thing selling prices are another. Last year when I looked at saws, there was a great Unisaw for $950 with 30”fence and Infinity tools Dadonator blade and rolling stand. I really wanted it but it was out of my budget. Within 3 months the price had dropped to $700, which was just below the average in my area. By then I had already found an older excellent condition Delta hybrid (looks just like a Unisaw) for $375 which was perfect for my needs. It also came with an almost new Forrest blade (which I was about to buy anyway!)

Funny thing, I immediately realized the size benefit of the internal motor over my Jet contractor saw in my cramped shop! The stability, better dust collection and added power that I got was expected.

Also, you don’t mention if that 3HP is 1 or 3 phase?

I would look at Brad’s find, a little effort on the motor would go a long way. Plus there are so many tutorials on Unisaw repairs.
