Cool idea… but I don t like mixing the used liquid back in with the fresh stuff, so I usually just keep a separate container for each. BTW, an old 1 gallon paint can works great – and with a hardware cloth basket, makes dipping small parts easy. Put the lid on it when not in use.

Is it true that the used up Evaporust can be safely poured down the drain?
I’m still on my original jug but it’s just about shot.
