Just going to throw it out there…….but I bought this Craftsman fixed/plunge combo a several years ago. I bought it on sale with the intention of upgrading to a Bosch or Porter Cable down the road. However, I’m still using the Craftsman. So far, it hasn’t failed to do anything I’ve asked of it. I just used it to flatten two pretty big rounds the other day.

At $99 shipped, you’ll be 50 dollars under budget…….with a fixed and plunge base…….and money leftover for a few router bits.

Of course, Sears is circling the drain…….so the warranty might not be worth much. But I haven’t had any trouble with my craftsman full sized or palm routers. YMMV. And its not like you’re getting a warranty from Craigslist.
