Can your router mortising jig do rail ends? If so, there s no need to chisel anything, just mill a long piece of tenon stock and use a rounding over bit so you can cut off loose tenons.

If the mortising jig you have now doesn t do rail ends, you can build the Morley Mortiser.

Yeah, I was reading your Morley post last night. I have a Beadlock loose tenon jig that works great but the issue with this project is that some of the tenons are angled and a real pain to line up with the Beadlock Pro.
