Where do you get your acrylic/pet/whatever type of plastic for these types of application?

BORG carries some sheets of thin acrylic. Mine stocks 1/8, 3/16 and 0.220 inch product that used to be called 1/4 inch?

If I need thicker, or larger pieces than BORG can support, my local glass repair shop has a huge assortment of acrylic on hand from 1/16 to 2 inch thick. They also stock many sizes of unbreakable poly-carbonate used for bullet proof windows.
Another potential source for sheet acrylic I have used in past is custom aquarium build shop, or commercial sign maker. Both use clear and colored acrylic in their products and might have spare stock on hand they would be willing to sell.

That said, you can buy pretty much any plastic known to man kind from US Plastics, it you can afford it. Shipping cost on large pieces is horrible, and it is usually best to find it local.
