Yep – I was a lighting designer for 10 years, huge projects both commercial and residential. Our eyes will look at the point source of light. That is why it is impossible to ignore headlights at night coming in the opposite direction. Every animal does the same thing.

LEDs and torture on your eyes and because the source is so intense, it is hard not to focus on the light source. 2700K helps a lot because it is more natural. Anything above 3000 and you might as well stick a fluorescent tube in your head.
