I was also shocked and pleased with how well Timberwolf blades cut…they are very sharp when new. Unfortunately, I was also shocked and not so pleased with how quickly they get dull and quit cutting so nice in such a very short time. And no, I wasn t cutting some rare off the wall super exotic tropical hard wood either…The Timberwolf blades I had went dull on cherry.

Maybe, but I set them up just like that Snodgrass dude says to do it…actually not guides, they are bearings. It’s a PM1500 and they shouldn’t be worn out, it’s about brand new. I have heard others complain about Timberwolf blades not holding their edge and going dull quickly. It’s too bad, because they really are extremely very sharp and cut good when they are new. They are a nice outfit to deal with too.
