some spar varnish with uv inhibitor should help
after however many coats of danish you like has dried good
or it will not take a good top coat

otherwise the sun will just bake the danish
and you will have to keep re-adding as time goes on

with the spar varnish or some other top coat with uv inhibitor
it will still bake over time but will take longer between re-sanding and
re-applying

maybe if it is possible turn the frame and glass around once in a while
so both sides get sun and shade over time
this way you can forget a top coat
but will have to re-aplly danish from time to time
let it weather evenly by turning around occasionally

on most boats even with the best finnish outside
they still need to re-sand from time to time to keep the finish from degrading into a barn board look
