I’d recommend either renting an airless, or buying a lower cost airless.
If you really would like HVLP, I agree, a second gun eliminates the worry of ruining your next fine woodworking project due to residual paint stuck in the gun.
When I was researching an HVLP system last fall (and purchased an Earlex 6300), I found these 2 guns that are low cost, but seem to be good quality.

An internet post said they use Fuji caps/needles, but that would need to be confirmed with the retailer before purchase.

A bleeder gun, but extra caps/needles are only $30.
