Like simplicity of Rockler Dust Right handle for changing between tools in my small shop. Wish adapters cost less.
Dust right handle is designed to slip on a 3-15/16 to 4.0 inch OD fitting. It has an ID taper that allows for the range to seal.

Hate the lack of details on actual ID/OD of ‘supposed’ 4 inch dust collection parts.
Problem I found is that many 4 inch fittings available in market are actually designed to fit inside 4 inch heavy duty hose, which means they have a 3-7/8 inch OD. Dust Right handle does not seal well on this smaller OD.

Making things worse:
- Both straight and taper ends exist on commercial 4 inch fittings (with various 3-7/8 to 4 inch OD being sold) and no one shares real dimensions. Never know what actual size of tool port or fitting, until you measure it.
- 4 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe has OD of 4.5 inches
- 4 inch SDR PVC pipe is either 4.130 or 4.2 OD depending on schedule

IMHO – standard 4 inch dust collection setup can be a total PITA…..

Best Luck.
