Thanks Rich. I did look briefly at the Sprayfine A301 system, but decided on the Fuji based on the number of positive reviews that are out there on that system.

I’m not suggesting switching brands, Mike. My Fuji has served me well for about 20 years, and I have no experience with the Sprayfine turbine. It’s probably a good one, but if I were out buying something today, I’d stick with the name brands like Fuji, Apollo and others since the turbine is the core of the system.

Aftermarket accessories are another story. The Sprayfine gun in my review is still performing flawlessly and cost less than half what a name brand one sells for. I also got their gravity feed conversion for my Fuji siphon gun and it works perfectly as well. I’ll probably be ordering their touch-up gun down the road too.

The only thing that’s gone wrong with my Fuji was that the lining in the cup started to peel. I spray lacquers almost exclusively and I think it just finally ate through it. I got an aftermarket cup on Amazon for around $13 that’s plain aluminum so that won’t happen again. I also picked up a plastic siphon cup so I can keep it filled with acetone and attach it to the gun for cleaning. It hasn’t arrived yet, so I’ll have to wait to comment on it.
