Hey guys, just want to update you a bit on my progress. That jointer weighs a TON. I strained a tendon in my wrist once when I was moving it a couple of years ago! Hence the new rig.

My first attempt at making the lifter failed when the effort arm tore the base right off the 2×4 that holds the wheels on my first attempt. I shoulda know better! As you can see I replaced screws with bolts and used plastic resin glue as an added plus. I hope.

Haven’t tested it since I added the new bolts, waiting for the glue to dry, but it worked on the first try until the screws failed. ;)

I’ll add one last picture when it is up on it’s wheel.
