Thanks for the feedback. I thought 10% was pretty low. Came to find out the band saw should have a miter gauge too. The included ones are nearly worthless, but still a loss worth something.

I’ve actually read a lot of good reviews on some craftsman stuff as they are exactly the same product as higher end brand rebadged. I’ve also noticed a lot of reviewers that are negative are mostly just against benchtop stuff and only advise to step up to larger and much more expensive tools. Personally I’m short on funds and space, so I’ll have to accept some quality compromise, I just want to have as little compromise as possible. If I can get an even cheaper floor model then that’s just more money for higher quality blades, guides, etc.

I’ll have to go back to see how I can do. With the current offer it looks like I can get a comparable band saw for not much more with some additional features. But with the drill press I can’t seem to find a 12” or higher model for under $300.
