I went into my shop barefoot or wearing flip-flops
once to get a ruler or something and knocked
a round-handled Sorby chisel off the bench
getting my thing out of the tool tray. It was
probably a 1/4” chisel but I don’t remember,
narrow enough to roll.

Stabbed me in the foot. I couldn’t flex my little
toe up for about 3 years.

I handle chisels more carefully now, and put them
away.

You can ease those sharp edge with fine sandpaper.
I’ve done it before on chisels. I’d do it again
if I noted a problem.
