I moved my Unisaw when I bought it by myself. I took the top off and the motor out. This allows you to man handle the Unisaw with one person. This would work for putting it on a base. The motor just has a big pin holding it. The top comes off pretty easy.

I forgot I bought the Unisaw without the fence so you might want to remove it.
