Lazarus does have a point. Grizzly has been slow on getting things from China so depending on the model, you might have to wait a while.

As for parts, Grizzly actually stocks parts for many older machines. I bought a 20 year old 18” bandsaw just to have a narrow blade for cutting curves and I was able to get a part that was broken right away.

That said, if it came to Powermatic vs Laguna, I would choose the Powermatic over the Laguna. Laguna has had too many customer service issues over the past years but, to their credit it looks like they been working on that reputation.

Or, how about this for a curve ball. Get a very heavily built vintage machine and restore it. They’re probably one of the easiest of the woodworking machines to restore and you will have a multi lifetime machine :)
