Jointers are pretty simple machines. There’s not a lot that can go wrong and in my opinion, anything that’s wrong would be right out box so the warranty advantage of the other machines over Grizzly to me wouldn’t make much of a difference for the price.

I would get the Grizzly and use the price difference to actually get something larger, like a 12” If you’re looking at a lifetime purchase, go big or go home, in my opinion, haha.

I’m going through a large upgrade in machinery in my shop. Started with a 6” Jointer, then got an 8” and now have a 16” old iron beast and restoring a 20” I couldn’t ignore the price on.

As time went on, my needs have changed and kept needing larger machines. Even now, a 25” planer is sitting in a box in front of my shop ready to be assembled as I’ve been having slabs larger than what my 20” planer could handle.
