I wanted to clarify that buying a fixer upper saw is perfectly fine if you enjoy fixing up machines. I do and others do, but some people want to plug in and go. And it’s worth being aware that if you buy a saw with a crappy fence that you’ll probably be dropping another $200 for a replacement so if you can buy a saw with a good fence then you’re ahead of the game.
