That Rob Cosman video is a good one. Most bandsaws have terrible dust collection. Only about half of the dust gets to where they build in the dust collections points and even then, they are not well designed to get even the majority of the dust. .

I have a cheap Wen air cleaner that I bought last year when they dropped the price below $100 (reg ~$150) and I can tell that it helps. If you find that you get a fine layer of dust settling around the shop fairly often or at least after using your bandsaw, you might benefit from an air cleaner.
