i bought one of their larger kits years ago. i found it really convenient for when i needed a quick bit and had it on hand. since then, i have replaced with better bits the ones i use frequently, straight bits, round overs, etc. the macs kit allows me to put on a quick profile when/if i need and forgot to get a good bit before it as needed.
