MCLS has some decent entry level bits that are fine to learn on. I’d stick with the smaller 15 pc set so don’t waste money on lots of low quality bits that you may never use. MLCS has the Katana line that’s a step up. Whiteside, Infinity, Freud, CMT, Amana, Eagle America, etc., are all better quality, but cost more. Infinity and Whiteside both offer a 6-7 piece set of the basic profiles for near $100.
