Researched and decided on a spring over pneumatic or hydraulic. Complaints of pneumatic and hydraulic leaking.

Box corners must be 90 degrees when installed. Check walls to floor angles. Box must be deep enough to accommodate mattress, linens, and pillow(s) when closed. If not legs which on ours lock the bed in the closed position will not lock.

Here is the one we built. It is horizontal twin size.
