One of other chronic conditions I have is RA, rheumatoid arthritis, and have been on pain meds for about 20+ years.
I have tried one of the new FDA approved drugs and after a couple of months I lost the sense of feeling in my feet so, even though it really worked well, I had to stop taking it to stop further nerve damage. I have not used that drug for quite a few years and my doctor told me that this is probably permanent.

I don’t want to try the RA specific drugs (I dont want to list any of them …. I can’t spell most them) because of the side effects as they include way too many for someone my age.

Right now I am using CBD tinctures, the non-euphoric/psychoactive chemicals of marijuana, which are working better than the pain med or the RA specific drugs without side effects or being habit forming! The CBD drops havve reduced my dependence on the opoid pain killer. Thank goodness the state of California has decriminalized the use of marijuana.

In my opinion, just like in woodworking, in many cases there are alternative solutions to a problem!
