Rick, I grew up in the air force. My Dad was a career NCO. I developed a love of planes at an early age. Sadly never could get a pilot s license. My inner ear is to sensitive to successfully recover from a stall.

Now those Corsairs and P-38 s are cool planes. But in my honest opinion they don t stand a candle to a P-51D. Without a doubt the finest piston fighter of it s era! I d love to be able to fly one for just an hour.

OH WAIT BOB! I think I have a P-51 in my files. Hang on.

At first they wouldn’t download it so I resized it and changed the .jpg to .jpeg and it worked!

Now I remember it! YEP! You’re right! This is One HOT Aircraft! I’m also pretty sure that YouTube has a few videos on it.I’ll check later.
