I have the Forrest Dado King 8” set. If I recall, I got a decent deal on it, as I had always been happy with their other blades I have. It does some things pretty well, it can go cross grain in plywood with very little tear out. The bat ears are a bit more than I would have hoped for tough. Way better than the cheaper one I have before, it was a $50-60 big box store one, tear out was bad cross grain on that one.

I almost went with a cheaper option from Harbor Freight because their tools have surprised me a few times and they had a stack for about $30. Yet, I figured I should take the safer route even though it cost me 3x as much money. Sometimes going cheap just isn’t worth the potential hassle.
