BattleRidge,

I have been satisfied with the Lennox 1/2” Tri-Master carbide tipped bandsaw blade as a general purpose blade. It has done a good job of producing true resaw cuts and curves.

Carbide tipped bandsaw blades are expensive and the possibility of the band breaking before the teeth are dull exists. Buying a carbide tipped bandsaw blade whose length is near the upper range that will fit the saw could save the price of a replacement for a broken blade. A broken blade may be repairable but doing so could shorten the blade. Buying a blade on the longer side could allow the broken and re-welded blade to still fit the saw.
