I went from the delta 36-725 to an old 1984 restored Unisaw I never had a problem wit power on mine, and really hated to see it go. I will buy a saw stop sooner or later because of my age. I m getting less Mobile every day seems like, and I ve got a grandson that s beginning to get involved. Ive been thinking about the safety factor ever since I ran my finger into the blade, while cutting a thin piece of trim about 3 months ago. I knew the blade was there, it was spinning and it would cut my finger but I did it anyway. DUMB,DUMB,DUMB!

I saw it this way, “Buy Once, Cry Once”. Safety features really worth it and if you’re savvy enough / patient enough, you can find the accessories “Used” on amazon from time to time, which makes it less painful on the pocket. That’s what I did and am glad I went that route. (Items bought “Used”: ICS Mobile base, Overarm Dust collection, ZCI throat plate / ZCI Dado Throat plate).
