I just went from a delta 36-725 to a sawstop pcs with ics base. [...]

You and me both! Same old saw, same new saw and base. The Delta gave me 3½ years of faithful service. Now, it belongs to one my coworkers who came over to help me unload the Sawstoop.

We should create a Delta 36-725—> SawStop PCS club. lol. I did the same thing recently. The SawStop PCS with ICS Base is 34-3/8” tall. Definitely lower than my workbench now, so I had to move it altogether. I couldn t cut enough of the base to make this a viable solution. I have to build a new outfeed eventually.

Apparently a common theme here! We were all suckers for the biggest saw lowes sold! Lol

Can t say sucker as it was a great workhorse. Great value for the money at the time and it seems we all bought it around the same time and moved on around the same time. lol. Now we re all facing the same issues. haha.

I agree. I loved the delta when I got it… but I didn’t realize how little power it actually had until I got a 3hp
