I just went from a delta 36-725 to a sawstop pcs with ics base. It definitely sits a couple inches lower than my delta did, but not noticeable. I just know that my outfeed table no longer works, which isn t a big deal. I will build a new or cut the legs down.

Funny you say that because that is the EXACT reason I asked this question. My outfeed is set up for the Delta so I will have to figure something out. The problem is that my outfeed is a Paulk style workbench, so it s heavy. What are your feelings on going from the Delta to the SS?

34” as per the owner s manual and confirmed with my tape measure.

Note that is for the saw without any base or the PCS mobile base that allows the saw to sit directly on the floor. I do not have the ICS base that can be adapted to fit the PCS saw, but I believe that it may add a little height.

There is absolutely no comparison. The delta was ok at best. I made a lot of money with it, but it was very underpowered. I bought high dollar saw blade after another to try to make it cut better…. I no longer worry. This sawstop is a beast
