I paid $200 for a used guard like that for my Uni, and it was worth every penny (you do need DC for it to be worthwhile). There was another post about a Uni without the guard and the seller wanted $1500. That saw may have been just slightly nicer than this one, but the opinions will be the same I suspect….that is, they were all over the map. I see that as being a tad high even with the Excalibur. I would think it should be $1300-$1400. But that’s me, in my market, and truthfully what matters is what is the saw worth to YOU. It’s an excellent saw and appears to be one of the Grand Edition saws made in the late 90’s (Grand Edition means it has the ivory paint, nothing more). If I was in the market, I would certainly be looking at it.
