The first Festool purchase is the hardest, BUT it proved well worth it for me as the Rotex 125 and CT22 were my first. No regrets, only great results! Also, after using Festool, it’s amazing how easy subsequent acquisitions become. Like waho6o9 observed: “You’ll replace your sanders with Festool, but you won’t replace your Festools with anything, anywhere, no way.” Go for it.
