Well, if you aren’t interested in restoring one, does that mean you don’t want to do too much fine tuning either? The WoodRiver blocks are in that range, but everything I’ve read indicates they need a fair-to-middling amount of lapping to flattern out prior to use.

I bought my first plane from him (a 60 1/2), and have bought another since. He ships quickly, advertises the planes honestly, prices fairly, and is a member here.

Oh, and I didn’t need to tune up either of the planes I bought from him at all, and I’ve been using them both for a few months now.
