Well that should no be an issue as the internet is from a separate company and comes over the TV CABLE


The DSL thing may have some merit.
The data is put on the same lines but it operates at a much higher frequency.
To keep them from interfering with each other, there is usually some kind of low-pass filter to separate phone signals from internet data.
Maybe this could be the issue? Missing a filter?
